The Blue Ridge Parkway and the Smokey Mountains were part of this beautiful itinerary. Wheather was kind to us in this end of september 2015 so camping has been part of mostly every evening we could find pleasant temperature.
Our 2 BMW GS 30th Special Edition were the perfect partners for this vacation. They’ve been reliable the whole trip (again) and the confort is au rendez-vous, whether we ride seated or standing up on the gravel roads.

The Smoky Mountains in Tennessee were a superb surprise filled with nice scenery. Probably because of the beauty of its ancient mountains, its America's most visited national park.
The Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina is a relaxing drive revealing close-up views of the rugged mountains and landscapes of the Appalachian Highlands for nearly 500 miles.
What we didn’t know about, was that cave. Mammoth Cave National Park is located in central Kentucky and with more than 400 miles of surveyed passageways, it is by far the world's longest known cave system.
We went to visit some of the best and renowned bourbon distilleries. As an Old Fashioned cocktail aficionado, stops at Jim Beam, Knob Creek, Woodford Reserve were pure bliss.
HillBilly Hot Dogs is the attraction locals were talking about many times. Worth every extra pounds you’ll bring home!
